Professional Development

 

A professional development calendar for the community is created in cooperation with community partners in Halton Region.  THRC works with the community to plan, develop and deliver a wide variety of professional development opportunities.

 

The following events are coordinated by THRC, Association for Early Childhood Educators, Ontario (AECEO), Halton Region, Children’s Services.  Please contact us for more information.

REFUND POLICY Should you be unable to attend, it will result in a loss of payment. Substitutions are welcome, please call to change the name.  In the unlikely event that THRC cancels the event, we will reimburse workshop fees in full.

Effective March 1, 2011, you as a member of the College are now accountable to the Code of Ethics and Standard of Practice as a by-law of the College

Public Register for Employers

 

When you are hiring new staff use the public register to verify that the employees are current members of the college.  If they are listed on the College’s public register, he or she is entitled to work as an early childhood educator in Ontario and use the protected title “registered early childhood educator” (RECE) to describe themselves and their profession.  Click on the member’s name and you will be able to see any conditions or limitations imposed on a member’s Certificate of Registration if applicable.
