Welcome to The Halton Resource Connection Online Learning Foundations for Numeracy: An Evidence Based Toolkit for Early Learning Practitioners The workshops are based on “Foundations for Numeracy: An Evidence-based Toolkit for Early Learning Practitioners” resource kit designed by the Canadian Language and Literacy Research Network, in collaboration with the Canadian Child Care Federation.
In this 4 part workshop series will present a review of recent well-designed research studies on the learning and teaching of mathematics. Educators will learn effective approaches to numeracy instruction that can be used in early learning environments.

Hello All, As you know the Online Numeracy training that you are about to embark on consists of 4 sessions. The first session is a review of current research. This session will involve a fair amount of reading and the material is primarily academic. The following sessions will focus on more practical information and resources.
